Ask him to elaborate a little on the "to be a great player, you can't have any respect for money" statement he is always making. Also, how do great players handle the huge downswings that are inevitable.

some of my favorites:

while sitting in the 25/50 NL: "who would ever leave this cherry patch?"

on neverwin playing HU limit: you 3-bet me on the flop stone dead and hit.

also on neverwin: all you do is raise raise raise and hit gin

Ask him how we learned the game, if he would recommend a poker book or did he just improve through playing tons of hands.
