[ QUOTE ]
i would be scared of being raised in a situation like that and then you're committing even more money to the pot. [/ QUOTE ] If he gets raised it is not a disaster by any means. Brad also offered a pretty good explanation of his reasoning elsewhere in the thread. I would read over that. I'm not saying that I completely agree with this reasoning (I don't), but he does defend his position. |

Re: Hmmm ATs Live Hand
I like the river check a lot because it looks like you fear the flush draw sucking out on you and and given you turn bet there's no way villians are thinking that card helped you. That is a great time to induce a bluff and I'm confident it will work more than 50% of the time. Well worth chancing this getting checked through.

Re: Hmmm ATs Live Hand
Nice hand. I like the river play only if you are prepared to do the following.
Check, check, check. ShillX "well, whos flush sucked out on me this time." (quitely turn your cards face up in front of you) Dealer: "sir, you won, you have the nut flush." ShillX: "holy s[/i]hit,,, i just glanced at my cards, i thought i had AK of spades. Man, i wish i wouldve bet. COCKTAILS!!!!" peace john nickle |
