it's come to light that Indian Casinos and card rooms at dog tracks and the like are not governed by the same regulatory bodies, hence it's thought that the Native Americans can pretty much do as they like on site.

I hope you are right.

Yes Indian run pokerrooms have been able to continue to offer tounaments but that doesnt mean they can do "pretty much as they like on site".

They're limited to the $2 bet like the rest.

But, they spread pretty much whatever tournaments they want. They have $140, $250, $500 and $1000 SNGs. They have $150 - $1100 MTTs. At least at Hollywood Seminole Hard Rock. I've heard of a $2000, but I have not seen it in Hollywood. Maybe Tampa?

Hey there, the games spread are 1-2 and 2-2. The stud games are $1 bring-in w/ no antes, and Omaha/8 usually has 2 or 3 tables going at 2-2. Rake is 10% capped at $5 plus $1 jackpot at $10. Tourneys range from 45 and up, but are high juice. 33+12, 50+15, and the 140 and up tourneys are around 17%, I dont remember the exact numbers. If they open up full gaming, I agree the place will become a playground for pros to reel the cash in. Wait times range but at the HR expect to wait over 45min-1:15 for Hold'Em. I personally don't like the pager system they use, but the brush stand is slowly getting better. Hope that helps.
