Default One more KK hand, did I bet too much on the flop??

I think a bet of $15 might entice the one pair, flush or straight draws to call , but an incorrect call as the odds I would be offering would be to low. So should I encourage bad calls , or be happy to shut them out on the flop?

Naa this is one of those flops you dont mind taking down. Too many strong draws. I dont mind not taking it down all the time if a flush or strait draw possibility is out there but when both are there there are soo many cards that can hurt you. Half the cards in the deck make your hand iffy, take it down now if you can.

I think I raise more preflop and then proceed the same way you did on the flop. I haaaaaaaaaaaate playing overpairs out of position against multiple opponents and I try to get it heads up as soon as possible.

What would you have raised here? I thought my raise was big enough, and I was suprised that I got 2 callers here . Maybe raise about 2x the size of the pot in that situation?

[/ QUOTE ] Your pre flop raise was fine. You do want action with this hand.

I don't think $15 into a $26 pot is too much, there are straight/flush draws on board. Honestly I think $15 is about the min you should bet in this spot w/ KK. Also, I think the pre flop raise from SB is about the right amount. jmo.
