Default Hmm ATs hand

Got out to Lucky Chances tonite for some beer and 3/6. Good times. The 3 guys around me (2 to my left and one to my right) are young drunken friends and they are the usual suspects. They think they are really good but in reality they are decent postflop but have serious weak-tight tendancies like checking QQ in the BB after 4 limpers. Next person (UTG) is an old man who just sat down. The other side of the talbe is really loose and not very good.

Lucky Chances 3/6

Hero has A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in SB.

Button posts $3 blind.

Old man limps UTG. One more callers and the button checks. I raise and the BB suspect calls. All call except a suspect on the button who folds.

Flop (4 way, 9 SB): Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I lead and only the old man calls.

Turn (2 way, 5.5 BB): A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I lead and plan on check/rasing any river should he just call. He calls...

Thoughts? Good/bad against an unknown UTG who limps his 1st hand? Discuss...

Brad

I'd lead the river, you've been betting the entire way and there isn't a reason to assume he's going to bet if you check.

BTW, this goes in Small Stakes forum

I don't know too much about trying a fancy river checkraise on the first hand.

If he bets you C/R and most likely win one more bet than if you just bet and he called.

I don't know what I'm talking about.

Old man may think Shill was bluffing on the flop and turn and gave up on the river.
