Default T7s sb bet the river?

i flat call w/ Th7h against bb so-so player. 3 handed 20-40 3am live southern calif game. bb checks.

the flop is 876 rainbow. i bet, he calls.

the turn is Ad. i bet, he raises, i call.

the river is J rainbow board. anyone bet here for value?

I think it's a bad idea to bet for value in that spot.

What hand is he likley to be calling you with? My first reaction would be that he had a ace or maybe he flopped a strong hand that he slowplayed untill 4 street and then he put in a raise.

I would have check, then call or fold, it depends..

but I'm still an amatuer! =)
