The preflop raise seems fine but I'd definately make a larger bet on the flop. Normally I'd bet around 250 on the flop and if I was called I'd check/fold if I didn't improve on the turn or river.

Edit: I'd probably only play this hand from this position if the table had been pretty passive up to this point, otherwise I'd probably fold.

I don't know if I like the raise preflop so early. I limp seems fine.

Considering you raised, CB is pretty standard here I would think.

I dont raise in ep with AQ this early into a tourney. I just think its not a strong enough hand to raise here. I lose too much money with it and would like to see a flop. Easy to get a way from with out losing much at all too. Other wise if your going to raise with it then I think it was fine, I like to bet a little closer to 200 but 155 is fine. Doesnt seem like any draws you need to worry about.

Thanks guys,

General consensus (like there is such a thing on this forum ) is that the raise preflop may have been too much and limping is fine. The table had been passive. The villain had something like 3-4. A gutshot straight draw on the flop or turn and rivered a pair. I am perhaps a little too aggressive early on.

I was at a total loss as to what the villain had. It is almost impossible to put some of these crazy players on a hand.

Thanks
