Greg Raymer Backing deal

So for the 2004 WSOP ME as I remember the deal and correct me if I am wrong, but he got a third of the 5 million for being the player and he also owned 30% of himself, with the rest being owned by others. So my question is, did he buy back all of himself? part? did pokerstars? or is the same still in place?

He now backs himself 100%. Do a search on the forum.

He has posted about it on 2 + 2, but he also talks about it in the FAQ's on his site, fossilmanpoker.com. He said the backing deal ended at the conclusion of the 2004 WSOP.
