AK high against maniac and unknown
5 handed 2/4 pokerstars
True maniac (previous hand raised T4o PF, raised a flop donk multiway with absolutely nothing and bet all the way) open raises in the CO, I 3 bet AKo in the SB, BB coldcalls 3, maniac caps. Flop 842 two tone Check to the maniac who bets, I raise, BB coldcalls, maniac calls Turn 9o (8.5BB) How do we proceed? |

Re: AK high against maniac and unknown
eeeeeeeeeew
you're oop with a coldcalling BB. i would say the only way to get it HU is to c/r again, which the maniac would oblige with. Are you ahead/splitting/behind the maniac's capping range? what does BB have? i would just c/f and leave the other two to tangle here, but thats because i can't see a way of getting to SD without another 2-4BB and us being good enough of the time. |

Re: AK high against maniac and unknown
Check the turn, we're not raising. We're calling or folding without odds to continue IMO.
Even maniacs can get AA-99, BB looks like he wants to come along no matter what anyhow and we've got a high card. |

Re: AK high against maniac and unknown
Your position sucks but I'd check/call to see the river. If BB folds the turn , check/call the river. If not I think you gotta fold this.

Re: AK high against maniac and unknown
check/call the turn. The river's tough if BB calls CO's bet on the turn. If BB bets the turn, I'd call if CO doesn't raise and fold the river UI.
