It looked like farha was making a ton of quality reads. Folding to the set of 4's and calling down the bluffer who caught the 8 to beat him.

Farha really did impress me with his play even though his results were poor.

Not at all, but I don't think Farha would want to tangle with Juanda when there are easier marks at the table (of course, I'm assuming he sees the other players this way). his hand was good but not great there and its real strength lays in hitting the nut flush.

I think he did see them that way indeed. He said after he got eliminated that he had a 'good table.'

I think if I'm Farha, any table at the first day of the WSOP will be a great table with all the amateurs in the field.

FEATURED table not FINAL table

Busting at ITS seams not "busting at seams"

I'm done.

Was it me or was the play, as a whole, very painful to watch? Negreanu also seemed to be dominated in atleast 80% of the hands he played that they showed.

I was lucky enough to start at this table. Farha was PISSED after that guy caught the 8. He started bitching at him about betting trash hands.

Then he told him his tell, how he knew he had nothing till the river (somemthing about how his hands shook when he bet, confused me bcz I associated shaking hands with the nuts).

Pretty entertaining to see the aftermath in person.

negreanu was at least nice, he acted like it was no big deal every time he got crushed.

very classy, IMO

Well its easier to take when you keep going in with the worst of it. He can only fault himself.

Because it wasn't the featured table, and there were no hole card cameras, and I guess the guy didn't show it.
