Put him in, it's more zany and there is a small chance he'll laydown.

Did you realize he had only $80 left before the flop or after?

If before, I think you should insta-push the flop, if you're going to put him in at all. Immediately after you see the cards, immediately, almost impatiently announce "all-in".

I like doing that live in a different scenario: when someone in EP pushes and I have a hand that I don't want to risk isolating with, I immmediately announce "CALL!" Sometimes that's just as good as isolate-pushing (at least with the people I play with).

So what did you do?

I pause for a couple seconds after seeing the flop and realizing what a pickle I've gotten myself into, then announce "I put you all-in." He shrugs and calls.

The turn is a Q, which gives his ATo the broadway straight.

Ni han. He tells me, "I was ready to go home."

We get to talking; he's a very happy fellow, swilling his jack and cokes -- his name is Billy Ray something the II, on vacation from Alabama, and after another couple hours or so he ends up at $2.5K due to some fortuitous suckouts but he leaves before he can lose it all to the rest of the table. It's too bad, because I happen to be the only guy at the table who's got him covered. Oh well.
