you should have asked when you first started working the hours off. i wouldn't have waited until i had half of it done, because now that's wasted.

edit- i guess the past doesn't matter.

I had to do community service when I got busted for underage drinking in college. I remember that all hours done between (I think) midnight and 8AM counted double. Might want to ask.

Seriously. School's overrated. If I were playing in the games you're playing, I wouldn't bother - certainly not for now.

the only benefit to this is that he would have more time to get the 50 hours of cs, but kurosh wouldnt be able to do this at the breadline.

kurosh, why did you ask this question? i think if i were the supervisor i would think, "wow this dude doesnt want to work. maybe i should just fire him. you know what? i will!"

the only way out of this is to talk to your dean and tell them what happened. but in the mean time continue to get hours, no matter how futile your efforts may seem. its time to show the school you really want to go back.

There are plenty of places to volunteer, you should be able to get the 25 extra hours no problem. Just open the Yellow Pages...surely there's a Salvation Army, or a Humane Society, etc... nearby that could use some free labour.

As for you getting fired...You can't go through life trying to cut corners like that. Eventually it catches up to you.

Large Catholic Churches usually have soup kitchens that you can volunteer in.....Check with the Archdioceses of your region.

Dude 50 hours in 9 days? I would start tutoring.. is there like a hs nearby? Those hours can be easily fudged.
