Default Esfandiari needs to play some 109$ SnG\'s on party

Wow, how bad can you play
blinds 10k/20k
esfaniari has 120

has ATo UTG and makes it 70k? leaving himself 25k
Mike caro calls with QJs clubs
flop AT2 2 clubs
Caro checks (this was just as bad, this is a perfect stop and go situation)
esfandiari bets... 25k??? thats like 1/8th the pot with all those draws out there

turn is a Kc and esfandiari is all in for his last 25k and he's done... he bemoans his bad luck, he should have moved in preflop and then maybe caro folds, then at least put it all in on the flop and make him pay

its irrelevant whether he makes it 70 or 120 hes committing himself. caro draws out and does get lucky.

I think the play against Brunson where he mucked a pair with a OE Straight and Flush draw was worse. He played that way in the Heads up Challenge against Fischman too. If he didn't have that bankroll, I'd say he was a fish.

He commits himself, but he doesn't commit Caro.

If the flop was Axx instead of a monster draw then Caro can fold. If the flop is Q high, I'm not sure Antonio can.

Well he won the heads up match vs. Fischman

"If he didn't have that bankroll, I'd say he was a fish."

That may be one of the dumbest things I've ever heard on her. Esfandiari is one of the best players in the world, and suddenly he's a fish? I assume the A-10o hand was on poker superstars. Besides the fact that everyone makes mistakes, do u really think they care all that much about that? 1st of the whole entire event is like 400k. I think everyone in the event has won that in a single night/tournament before.

Calling Esfandiari a fish is a jopke.

Lighten up, it was a joke. He's made more money at poker than I'll ever see. He just sees a ghost every now and then.
