Default Overall profit/bankroll?

I wanted to make a poll to see just how sucessful the forum was as a whole but know that not alot of people like to come out about their progress so i figured a poll is the best way to keep privacy. I made one a second ago but then thought it didnt have enough options since we have a MTT section where players make 60k just in one tourney alone and alot of people have been playin for years.

Yeah me too, but I mean.. who really would get satisfaction out of lying on a poll where nobody will know who it was who voted for what

Im down overall - because I had really no clue when I first started playing.
Now my poker bankroll is about $25000.

[/ QUOTE ]Wow. Are you saying that you sank more than $25k into poker before you started climbing up?

I lost for several months and kept depositting money, I think $15-$20k is pretty good estimation.

After that I thought if im going to play poker I could as well become at least a break even player: read couple of books, some articles and deposit total of $10k to two different sites and started playing "seriously".

5200 to be exact. It would have easily been 10k+ but I had a tilting session and almost completely destroyed my bankroll a few months back. I took whatever scraps I had left and restarted from the same place I did with my intiial 100$ deposit. And just two weeks ago I withdrew 1500 bucks, so it was more then, I haven't been playing much.

There are many serious players who don't read IG forum and many newbies who only read this forum so I think results are screwed to small numbers. You should post links to this thread to specific forums across 2+2 to invite members to vote. And I think another problem is that some people choose their bankroll size while some ppl choose their overall profit.

Maybe 2K from serious play for 2 months. Most of it from bonuswhoring than actual winnings though.
