Default Q9s, paired board

i limped preflop because of the hand and the table action -- not much pfr but lots of callers. on the flop i was very apprehensive because i'm almost wa/wb here (if he has the T, the 9 isn't an out, and the Q might give him a boat). on the turn i think i should have given it up but i'm not sure.

I raise that flop. You're ahead pretty often here.

3 bet - calldown or fold?
call - bet out?

i find sometimes i get trapped, if he just calls he has a T but thinks i have him outkicked.

Keep betting if no further aggression show. If 3bet, I'd call it down. If they check-raise the turn however, I think you're in big trouble and I'd fold it.

I don't like just calling in 5 max so this is a clear raise for me pf. It plays differentyl after that but the way you played it pf, I would raise the flop and keep betting on turn. If you do this and you get c/r on turn or river, I guess you are in bad shape.

I like it postflop.
Preflop I raise as I want to buy the button.

I am folding this preflop at .5/1. I would raise QTs+.

You should raise the flop, but since you didn't I like raising the turn. You will often at this level get a free showdown, but you can bet when you make your flush. If he 3-bets you can call and fold the river unimproved.

Yes

We have a better-than-average hand against weak players. Make them pay.

I do not like the turn raise in this spot for 2 reasons:

-the pot is small

-if we do not have the best hand we have to almost always
pay three bets to draw
