In terms of hands I play, I look through and take notes in PT. I haven't taken notes in my notebook about certain hands yet, but probably should.

How about different sets/formats of journals for online vs B&M play? Online, it's easy to dump specific hand info into PT or other tool, but live it's a different story.

I've seen a couple of people taking notes at the table, but I don't know what kind of info they are tracking. What kind of info would you deem important? Perhaps # of hands entered vs hands dealt, card info, reads on players? Sounds like a lot on info to track live. You could get carpal tunnel or something in a long session.

It's mostly just cuss words and numerous threatening references to the U.N.

I keep mine on a WORD program in my computer. Unfortunately, after another bad decision that cost me a ton of chips, I threw the entire system out the window last week. My current journal consists of "When I save up $5 I'm gonna play a SNG and start building my bankroll".

I have a blog for concepts/ideas and I had a spreadsheet for results -

two weeks ago it went [censored] up - I'm just gonna write off this year and create a better one for next year with a backup -
