Default 8/b: (57)2s turns into trips.... when to stop chasing?

Sorry for the formatting; if anyone has a converter for Absolute I'll use it.

I'm eager for feedback on all streets, but especially where I should have gotten away from this hand, if at all. Perhaps I should release it on 6th street -- by then I've totally lost my flush draw (which was rather dead by 4th) and haven't made a low yet. Or 5th, where I catch the first brick? But my draw to a 7-5 seems likely to be best, and the 6-2 (only scary-looking low) and 8-A both brick on 5th, so I can't see folding there.

Anyway, TIA.

I think you're right to chase to the river. It's a pretty big pot since it's gone all the way to 6th 4-handed getting at least one bet in on every street (assuming I didn't misread the action).

I have no clue what seat 7 is doing with the river check-raise.

Thanks for the reply.

I don't believe seat 7 actually c/r'd -- he just raised my bet. (As you might expect, he made Broadway.) Was my bet with trips foolhardy?

Whoops. Misread the action.

As fair warning, I'm still learning the game. I would have check-called the river. Since he has bet every street, there doesn't seem to be much reason to expect him to check behind. I would rather check-overcall than bet into him and see him raise everyone else out of the pot. You don't win more by having him raise, so don't give him that opportunity. I doubt any of the players between the two of you made a hand that beats yours high, so overcalling shouldn't be bad.

I play this the same, and I don't really see it as "chasing."

Seat 7 has not bet since 4th street.Seat 1 bet 5th & 6th & then checked the river. It looks to AKQJ10 that if he checks, it will likely check out with him having the best hand. I believe the bet is best by far. Since he looks like a low hand, he should get calls from weaker highs.
