There's been some good responses already.

My first response was: It means "fold" ... but

It could also mean, "I think you missed the flop on a steal and I called expecting you to miss the flop and now I'm going to resteal."

Or, "I caught a small piece of the flop and I think you missed the flop and I'm too chicken to let you see any more cards."

or, "I got trips and I think you're stupid enough to call."



To me, it's an easy fold no matter what spin you put on it.
