I forget where to buy them, but a friend of mine looked into buying them. They cost more than $1 each to buy. So he just kept taking $60 worth of $1 chips home each time he played. He has about 10 racks and can cash them back in anytime. Only thing is, you need to have honest people in your home game since these are real money.

If they buy in for face value, who cares?

Doesn't the room frown on taking chips out?

Try asking this in the home poker forum. They will definitely know.

Ha, I'm not really taking the moral high ground, I just want to know how one discreetly walks out of the poker room carrying a rack of chips.

I recently walked out of the casino with a few chips after a dealer told me to put some in my pocket when I had to refill after moving tables and we didn't have correct change. My guess is his friend did something similar.

They're Bud Jones coin inlays. Bud Jones chips are not sold for home use... you can't buy them. Ebay's flooded with similar sets with different engravings and markings.. they aren't quite as good quality as BJ or TR King would be, but for your home games, they should work beautifully.

Commerce is insanely huge. If you pocket what you can easily carry, no one will notice at all. It's a trek just to get to the cages.
