Today they are offering deals on various LCD monitors - including the beloved 2001fp.

The middle monitor is a 2001FPW. Does this differ from the FP?

EDIT: Ok. Now I see the difference. Widescreen 1680x1050 (not 1200).

Sorry guys. False alarm.

Call them and ask if they're willing to give you the same price as the 2001FPW for the 2001FP.

I got my 2001FP from Dell Canada for $650 CDN including shipping and taxes a few months ago.

Stupid question - I am a cheap SOB (2 ex wives and 4 kids has allot to do with that!) - however in shopping for a deal on Monitors in Canada I have come across allot of CTR monitors that are capable of 1600 x 1200 resolution - they are clearly bigger than the LCD's but dirt cheap (like $100 refurbished) - would this work for multi-tabling? Please let me know

My current setup includes 2 19" CRTs capable of 1600X1200 and I have had no problems. I was going to purchase two 2001FPs but decided to p/u a laptop instead.

If cost is an issue the 19" CRTs will do just fine.
