Re: A bold play
I don't like this river raise at all. SB just check-coldcalled 2 on the flop and check-called on the turn. His donk bet is worrisome in my opinion, and that combined with the danger of CO's having you beat rule out raising here for me. I would call here if I were closing the action, but with CO behind me with a trigger-happy raise button, I don't like my chances here. I think you have to fold here. This raise just feels too much like FPS for me.

Re: A bold play
What do you do when CO raises and SB calls? Are you going to overcall that as well? Even if that narrows CO's hands down to overpairs? I don't think it's worth it here. And a call/fold seems ridiculous for some reason.
Actually, general question, has anyone ever done that? Called one bet and folded to one raise? Why? |

Re: A bold play
[ QUOTE ]
If he's been using the auto-raise button, I'd be more likely to fold this river than to raise it. [/ QUOTE ] I wouldn't be. Many donks will click Bet/Raise intending to just bet (since they are stoopid.) and then see villain bet right in front of them, go "crap" as the autoraise happens, see villain call, and then think "hmm, maybe he was bluffing." I put zero stock in the auto raise. |
