Default Celeron Processor

I realize this has probably been beaten to death but it didn't come up in a search I did.

Is there any reasonable reason to not get a Celeron Processor based laptop? I remember that some folks had issues with this processor a while back and I'm wondering if those issues still exist.

I'm replacing a laptop that I have been using exclusively for poker with PT and GT/PV, and I can get everything I need for the price point I am looking for with a CeleronM Processor 350 (1.30 GHz/1MB Cache/400MHz FSB).

Please advise me on this as I would like to pull the trigger soon.

I personally would go with P4 or AMD. Celeron, from what I've heard, are really not that great of a cpu.

Personally I would never ever buy a new computer with a celeron processor. Performance is not great compared to a P4/Centrino or AMD.
