Default should i have tried the stop and go here?

regular lunch time game, sit and go style tourney. starts with 1-2 blinds up every 15 mins and each starts out with 50, nine players. top two cash. in this instance 70-20 split.

we are down to four, i have about 70 villain has 90. villiain is a pretty tight passive newbie, who has loosened up a tad in recent weeks. i believe him to respect my play.

5-10 blinds, i am SB he is UTG. He raises to 20, next player folds. I have KQs and go all in. SB folds, he thinks hard and calls with AJo. it holds up.

the flop was 8-6-8. i am convinced that if i called preflop and pushed on the flop i would have won the pot.

any thoughts?

Pat

Stop and Go might work, but I am not sure if he would fold.

The problem is easy if you fold PF. 4 handed, he is UTG, min raise, and you are in sb...

I am talking myself into folding here especially if 3 gets paid.
