I need to work on my tells etc. I was playing at Showboat low limits once and there was another 2+2er sitting to my right (forget who it is- mid limit guy killing time with his father) He noticed an old lady limped in with KKon a hand. Next hand, Bet, he raises, I reraise (AK) and the old lady caps!! Of course flop comes K83 rainbow, then blank, then blank. 2+2er kept telling me throughout the hand she has aces. I was stubborn. She won. Lesson learned. Pay attention!!!

I've found reading unimaginative players in limit is extremely easy watching betting patterns only. God help them if you can see that they limp-reraised with 32o because "the big cards weren't working for me so I thought I'd play trash!"

Today's lesson from Ed Millers book - during a typical limit session, if you have cold called more than 3-4 times, YSSCKY. If you cold call more than once per 3 hours - YSSCKY.
