I don't have the numbers right now, but I remember I looked into it, and its really not. It ends up being like a 150x WR bonus, it might even have been a 200x WR bonus.

it's 140xB for a 7x bonus, and the HA is 0.20% for a double deck game. so EV of the bonus playing blackjack with perfect basic strat is about +0.5%. for the current 10x reload (200xB), EV drops to +0.3%.

Are you sure the HA is only .2? How is this, even though its double deck, its not like you can count cards, aren't they shuffling every hand or something like that? And even so, the variance on a 140x bonus....

note that I didn't actually recommend to anyone that they clear the PR bonus this way. HA on a typical 6-deck S17 DAS game in AC or vegas is only around 0.3-0.4%, so taking 4 more decks out of the shoe is slightly more advantageous to the player. you can plug the numbers into blackjackinfo.com yourself to see.

player EV on a good online blackjack bonus like Intercasino (25xB) is about +3.5% based on their 8-deck rules. also note that long-term variance DECREASES if the WR is higher. the primary issue, therefore, is net earnings per hour.

The house advantage is more like .24% than .20%, and that assumes PokerRoom is telling the truth about the fact that the game is double deck. Maybe they "improved" the game to more decks without updating the information provided to the players. On a 7x bonus, you give back about 1/3 of your bonus in house advantage. On a 10x bonus, you give back about 1/2 of your bonus. If you clear it all in one day, you might qualify to get some extra money back, though, and the points may have some value.

You get the bonus after you complete the wagering requirements, unlike most casino bonuses. This means if you bust out, you have to redeposit and play more to get the bonus. Many bonuses with large wagering requirements can be treated like sticky bonuses, but not this one.

Another annoying thing that happens is that you often can't get a table where you play alone. You might have to wait for someone else to play his hands.
