Some of the scores from last night's NHL contests. It is early but scoring is most certainly up in the new look NHL. Without being able to clutch, grab and otherwise interfere, there are some well known players who are clearly looking lost in their defensive zones.

Buffalo 0 at Ottawa 5
Washington 1 at Atlanta 8
Boston 7 at Pittsburgh 6
San Jose 7 at St. Louis 6

Vancouver 3 at Edmonton 4
Colorado 3 at Dallas 2

Current O/U for Flames and RedWings is 6. These are both teams capable of putting up big numbers.
