Default the best stud advice from Andy B

i wish i could remember the post. i still laugh at this and since you are now moderator i wanted to see if you remember this. there was a hand where a guy had Aces that were in big trouble and a big pot. your advice: "I recommned catching a third A on fifth street." if only we could follow that advice when needed!!

Andy B's advice on that stud high hand is "nut's on", but card catching is even more important in stud/8. A good player can take (3,4)5 and turn it into a hogger, while a less experienced player gets squeezed on 5th and 6th, then folds (3,4) 5,2,9,9 (J) on the river.

Players should spend less effort memorizing dead cards and calculating pot odds, and concentrate on their card catching skills.

Seems to me that I've given that kind of advice on a number of occasions, and that that sort of advice was dispensed on the hold'em forums when I was still mostly lurking. It doesn't matter how well you play--there is no substitute for catching cards.
