Default Sets are pretty

Oppponent is very loose, and is pretty aggressive. What do you do on the river?

Curses and calls.

You induced a bluff, and villain obliged....maybe. Or villain flopped a flush and slow played. Or villain turned a straight. Or turned a set of 9's. Or rivered a set of 2's.

I think you're somewhat worse than a coin-flip to win, but you're getting 3-1.

Hero blocks the river for $60 instead?

Folds. There is a straight and a flush out and you have no reason to believe from his betting that he DOESNT have it.

Isnt a block that small begging to be reraised? I would probably have blocked for ~100.

Maybe so, I'm not much of a blocking bet pro.

But if I'm villain, I might just flat call $60 with a baby flush or a straight; I'd hate to raise and see Hero push.

$60 is 1/3 pot; if I block for $60, I feel pretty good folding to a raise.

Unless he's making a move,... he's got either a set (1 of which you're ahead, one of which you're behind), a straight or a flush.

Unless you know this player bluffs all the time, fold.

I probably fold river; then take deep breaths and calm down. Most players dont realize that this is the most tilt inducing moment in poker. Folding sets when you may be pushed around.

You are dead on the turn when he re-raised - fold then.......
