Oh man. I remember watching him run as a kid in Houston. Amazing. And while he was a great power runner, his lateral movement and ability to make people miss was always highly underrated. But as you said, his career was just too short.

yeah, how about the classic clip where he is running a sweep, cuts upfield and cracks the sternum of the middle linebacker when he runs over him...that's classic.

Jim Brown was and is the best there ever will be. Walter Payton was pretty damn good as well.

Although Barry could break one on you at any time. He could kill a drive getting trapped behind the line.

a while back, I did a poll regarding the greatest RB ever. The older posters said Jim. The middle aged posters said Walter, and the younger posters said Barry. However, most experts agree that Jim was the best.
