Default 30/60 KK

This hand played out real wierd. UTG is tricky and pretty LAG postflop, but he seems to have decent cardsense. I don't think my preflop check was all that debatable on this particular spot, because this guy was a prime candidate for giving excessive action postflop.

u played that so damn bad. that is disgusting. u said he isa live player who donates, raise pf, bet flop, bet turn, bet river, call raise wutever maybe by then he drew out on u but i think he probably would have folded by the river if u played it to any extent that u should have.

Pre-flop: raise.

Bet the flop -- if called, bet the turn, if raised ... make some decisions then.

yes. i agree. i think you played that pretty poorly. all you can really do there is fold at the river. odds are he does have a flush. unless he's the kind of player to bet his draws no matter what. then perhaps you could call the raise putting him on KJ or QJ, but in the latter case, that type of player would've bet the turn to try and steel with a draw. if this isn't the type of person to bet their draws to steel in this situation, then almost certainly they have a flush. they definitely don't have an ace imo... how'd it turn out?

btw, in that situation, i would've raised pre-flop (ALWAYS). this is very important heads up not only for the obvious reasons, but because what you really want to do is represent a number of strong hands (including AK). also, you need some info on how strong his hand is...

Not agaisnt him. I want to represent a steal/resteal scenerio postflop. Ideally I want him to think I'm checkraising the flop with nothing, but the A put a kink in that plan
