Default 9 handed max vs. full table (low content)

Ever since party started running 9 max table i've seen a lot of post from people playing at them. I was just wondering what people thought of them. Do people enjoy them more then a full table? are there any advantages over a regular table? disadvantages?

Besides the disadvantage of paying more rake, it seems to me that I can find looser tables at 9 max. Other people have said they're the same, but the times I've played ($1/2) I've been able to find several tables having several uber-loose players.

but don't you think there would be just as many loose players at a full ring table? I just don't really see the point of playing at a 9 max table
