If his rate of calling is really at 50%, then he could easily be playing a hand like T7 or J8, and I don't think you want to risk giving a hand like that a free showdown.

Bet the river and fold to a check raise.

trust me i would if i lived anywhere close.. although 6-8 tabling party is way more profitable no doubt.

No. Because people are into going crazy with a small pot when there's a four-straight and no action, and you have the low end. If the guy has 2 pair, he'll likely call the river, so a bet is probably right, but close. But calling a checkraise is stupid. I play online and know that people give way too much action. I also play this game and know that they don't.
