Default Canterbury Hotels

Where's the best place to stay if you're on a trip to CP?

plenty of places - and some offer special rates - it's a bit of a walk from any hotel nearby to the card room (mile or two along the road?) but it's decent...

if you come let me know - I have a funny feeling the drunk magoo fest may fire up.

I'm referring to the dickweeds who get drunk and buy in for 2K on a 3/6 game and end up disrupting the whole poker room cause they think they're funny when they're just obnoxious.

Come on Whiskey, you're more than welcome to join us this time!

But seriously, we never disrupted anybody but nits who didn't like people actually *gasp* having FUN in a poker room. Its a poker room, dammit, and they were there to WORK!

Annie told us that we need to keep the antics down a little bit if we ever do anything like that again, though. If only because the crowd the game drew made it hard for people to get around sometimes.

And for the record, the only drunk one was Dougiefish.

I've heard that all of the close hotels are booked at that time due to the Fall Classic.

I never actually spoke to Annie

but I was in the room the day after the last one and the commotion was still being discussed amongst the regulars - LOL

allrighty - throw me in on the next invite - I'm not getting drunk though and I can't light up in the parking lot - Security is wise to me...
