Default Noob roulette question.

Is there any order or reason to the way that roulette numbers are coloured? I always assumed it went something like odds are red and evens are black. Then I actually walked by a roulette wheel long enough to watch what was going on. The red and black squares appeared to me to be randomly thrown down on the board. Any secret pattern, or for that matter, are they the same everywhere?

If the odds were red and evens were black then there would be no point in having both the odd/even bet and red/black bet.

Obviously, but I never really thought about it before as I've never played anything but poker in a casino. Do you know the answer to the former question?

all roulette tables use the same exact layout, except for the choice of adding 00 or not in addition to 0.

The devil created roulette, if you add up all the numbers on a roulette wheel you come up with 666 as the sum. What further proof could you need? The color and number layout combinations correspond to a coded message to Satan worshippers. The exact message is a closely guarded secret handed down for centuries from the sacred book Grimoire of Honorious.

It is said that if you are able to decode the message on your own you will have ulitmate power bestowed upon you by Satan himself. This is rumoured to include immortality, the ability to travel in time as well as precognition, then you will become a Demi-God and be worshipped by all who are evil which will enhance your power as you gain followers.

If you haven't figured it out yet, the odds 1-9 (first quartile) and 19-27 (third quartile) and the evens 10-18 (second quartile) and 28-36 (fourth quartile) are red.
