i agree that a flat call is best, but it's not cause i want to extract from 99-JJ. i want to extract another bet from 57o or whatever junk he holds that he'd fold to your push. i think you're letting him off the hook too easy by pushing pre-flop. call and plan on getting the chips in on any flop.

when you call his 5x Bb raise you think he'll try a continuation bet w/ a hand liek 57? or will he check behind unless he catches a peice of it.

he might think you're trapping him..

I would certainly push this. His raise screams I don't want action OR I am giving myself odds to call an all in. With AA or KK this raise by him doesn't make sense and you said he had AK which fits.

His raise of 8,000 makes the pot 10,000+ which is more than one forth of your stack! I'd try to take it down immediately and be hoping for a call. There's no way hes laying down jacks there.

AK vs. QQ is a very common tournament hand. I've been on both sides before and wether I won or lost, I usually thought I've made the right decision.
