At the very least I'm playing stop and go here and more often I'm going to push preflop and try to double up. I'd consider letting this go if the shortstack had 500 - 700 but in this situation I'm looking to double up and go for the win.

i think you should push this here. the villian can still lay down this hand with out much invested. if you call and then play stop and go your push is going to be barely the size of the pot which depending on the player may or may not be enough to fold him as he'll be getting 2:1 odds on his money plus having a chance to get ITM by knocking you out. especially if you think he is capable of making loose calls your FE is going to drop significantly as the pot grows. I am betting he can walk away from his crappy min-raise lazy steal attempt.

Yes. If you dont push at least raise and see if you get any action.

Since you're in the SB, a stop and go is a bit risky if BB doesn't cooperate and fold, so I would push. You still have some folding equity.

I think this is one of the worst folds I've ever seen. Gotta push.

Ugh. A read here would be very nice. If you have no FE then you can't call. How much FE do you need?

I ran some numbers with the following scenarios:

You fold: foldEV = .2036 icmEV

You push and aren't called: stealEV = .26 icmEV

You push and are called: showdownEV: vs. a range like 33+,A7+,A4s+,KTs+ (reasonable in the $11s) you are ~58% to win. If you lose your icmEV is zero. If you win your icmEV = .3312. .3312 * .58 = .192 icmEV.

let x = probability of opponent folding.
let 1-x = probability of opponent calling.

The equilibrium point then would be foldEV = stealEV(x) + showdownEV(1-x).

.2036 = .26x-.192x+.192
.0116 = .068x
x = .17

So your opponent needs to fold ~17% of the time given the calling range I put him on.

This seems reasonable I guess but I'm not sure a fold here is that unreasonable either depending on your opponent read.

I would move allin, I think your fold equity is too great. If the villian folds they are still in clear 3rd. If they call and lose they are now in the same neighborhood as a short stack. This is often a big psychological distinction to your opponents and thus there is plenty of folding equity IMO.
