Re: ($55) 10-10 in BB facing a donk bet
I guess you've got a binary decision to make: All-in or fold.
Here's my reasoning: Pot at time of BB is 850. Nini_Mags (if calling) would be left with 1200. After the flop, Nini_Mags to act first - if you hit the flop, the only bet is all-in. If you miss, then a check (and then a bet by rsschifty) evokes a fold. But, if Nini_Mags goes all-in pre-flop, the decision is now with rsschifty. For about half their stack as well. You're always going to an underdog if they call, so you've got to make your decision. |

This sucks.
You can't call, so raise or fold. With no reads, I'm chucking this. |

Re: ($55) 10-10 in BB facing a donk bet
I would fold. You're pretty comfortably in 3rd place and if have 19BB, not that short. I think there's a decent chance he has a lower pair, as many donks play them this way, but I just don't want to get in a coinflip situation vs. the donk, letting him off the hook in a way. You'll find a better spot than TT I think in this tourney.

I agree and did fold. However I was very tempted to push. Definetly not worth the risk at this point.
I guess the whole point of this post is how hard overbets are to read into. |
