Any So. Calif players who look (or are ) underage

My nephew, who is almost 21, plays at some Indian casino, where you can play at 18. He'd like to play at Commerce or another local cardroom.

Any of you had any experiences on how careful they are, if they check ID, etc.?

I know GoT is 20 and played many times at Commerce before finally getting carded a few weeks ago. I guess he isnt really sure if that was a one time thing or if its a legit change of policy. I just turned 19 and look very young and have had no problem playing at Oceans 11. Just go in the back door. Also, just tell him not to have his ID on him. Then the worst that will happen if they card him is that they will ask him to rack up and leave.

Hey NL which NL game do you play at Oceans 11? I sit in the 2/3 mostly. I do sit the 1/1 while waiting and will play the 5/5 when my bank roll looks good.

NLSoldier is a freshman at USD, he only gets up to Oceans11 when somebody drives him. He also plays a suprising ammount of limit poker given his name.

I'm 24, Asian male.

I have been carded about half the time at Hawaiian Gardens before even stepping in the building. I've gone there only 4 times though.

I've been carded at Commerce walking in the back door entrance by security at that booth right where u walk in twice (out of about 40 visits).

I've never been carded at Bicycle (about 40 visits) or Hustler (handful of visits).

Yeah, Hustler never cards, and I've played several times opposite some little Asian girl who can't be over 19.

I have been to the Commerce and the Bike many many many times and have never been carded. It should not be a problem. I have also taken two 18 year old friends and have never had problems either.
