If you read my response in that thread, I don't think you can fairly say it is only self-serving "justification" since I laid out the Catholic Church's teaching on gambling and the conditions in which it is morally wrong, conditions that don't exist for me.

If I read you right, you believe its ok to play poker even though you believe in god because you don't believe that playing poker is prohibited by god.

Anyone out there going to defend playing poker even though they believe in a god that prohibits poker?
