Default I just hate myself for these hands

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (9 handed) converter

UTG+1 ($100)
MP1 ($101.15)
MP2 ($221.94)
MP3 ($146.10)
CO ($118.90)
Button ($64.75)
Hero ($124.20)
BB ($93.60)
UTG ($114.30)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG calls $1, <font color="#666666">6 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero (poster) raises to $3.5</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG calls $3.

<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $8</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $16</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $50</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $84</font>, Hero calls $34.

Turn: ($177) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

River: ($177) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

Final Pot: $177

Opponent hasnt been at the table for even 10 hands, no PT stats on him. I thought the min raise was "buy the pot from overcards" raise, so I bumped it up to 50. After that I really didnt know what to do. His reraise was another min raise and something I didnt want to fold to, and if i called i'd be all in by the turn anyway, so i pushed.

Looking back, I'm wondering if I should have given the unknown more credit?

so you have no information on this guy and put him on a bluff, then reraise his bluff so he can stop bluffing?

assume everyone is a pussy unless proven otherwise. I probably call his flop raise then lead most turns and stop putting any more money into the pot, sometimes check turn and re-evaulate

allinlife is correct, i dont understand the point of your re-bluff. Call his raise on the flop becuase your 3 bet kills any action from hands your ahead. More importantly dont put moves on someone you have no stats on, -EV.
