maybe its just me but chris and pat r not names that if just mentioned out of context that i would assume were female.

clearly they can be used, but that doesn't mean that they should just be thrown on a list of names that would cause awkward situations for guys with those names.

Nittish yet correct. Patrick and Christopher are obviously not going to be confused with Patricia and Christina.

Carol, however, is an ideal choice for those with obscure genitalia.
