Ok, I need a definitive answer, as my AC trip hingers on this. If you are in a casino underage, with NO id, and u get carded, can a casino (specifically the taj), but also in general, confiscate your chips? I have tried searching the archives and recent posts to no avail.

Also, in Vegas, underagers were able to have a friend cash them out.

To give you a nonsarcastic answer... you are illegally trespassing on private property. They can have you arrested... and they might if you irritate them. As for confiscating your chips... probably not, but are you really willing to risk it?

Play online until you can do it legally elsewhere. Its not worth the misery if you get caught.

I can tell you with almost complete certainty that they will not confiscate your chips. Whether legally they are entitled to or not I can't tell you for sure, but I have been with underaged friends when they couldn't produce ID and seen the same thing on several other occasions, and confiscating chips never even entered the equation.

First of all the casino can only suspect you of being underage and ask to see some id. If you can't provide them with one then they are entitled to order you off the premises. But this doesnt mean anything has been proved and of course they cant confiscate your chips - that would be stealing from you.

last time I was in las vegas, I played three card poker at harrah's and didn't get carded when I sat down to play.

I ended up losing and went to the cage with two $25 chips and the cashier asked me for ID and i said I didn't have any. she told me if I didn't have any ID they would keep the chips.

I ended up letting them keep the chips because I didn't want any trouble. so, yes, the problem has come up before.
