Default Hypothetical $EV vs. table dynamic situation

Standard Party SnG payout structure, 3-handed. Blinds are 50/100, stacks are:

button, 2500

SB, 1500

Hero (BB), 6000.

Button folds. SB pushes all-in, accidentally revealing AKs. You look down at 44. How common would you say it is for folding to be correct in this spot?

I would say never. Not only because your ahead, but because I don't think you can bully them enough to make it +EV. Unless your read on the two is ubertight.

i dont quite see your point. looks to me like this is a clear call. run in it SnGPT to see the numbers since you know his exact hand

He's hinting towards other factors besides the ev of this particular hand.

I don't think in practice I would fold, but blinds are still low and if they were both awful enough it would probably be better to fold.

Keeping the SB with the small stack alive in order to bully the medium stack might make sense if the blinds were say 200/400, but with the small stack having 15xBB here, I'd much rather take all his chips and beat the medium stack over the head with them.

If you win, it was a good call.

Is button bullyable? If yes fold, if not call. Seems easy enough to me.

In fact I might call anyway because even if you double up the SB you still have a pretty big lead.

Honestly, I'd base it on whether I play better 3 handed or HU with smallish blinds. There are some other factors involved such as caliber of the players, how aggressive the table has been, etc etc.
