Default 33party - 3 handed, call allin w/42o?

I was just crippled the previous orbit. Normally I autocall here with any two cards, but with one of the worst hands possible, 42o, I hesitated and wasn't sure if calling was correct. If the villains range is any pair and any ace, I have just over a 28% chance at winning here.

Table Table 67459 (Real Money) -- Seat 5 is the button
Total number of players : 3
Seat 1: HERO (1015)
Seat 5: vonMises (3275)
Seat 6: budzie (3710)
budzie posts small blind (150)
HERO posts big blind (300)
** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to HERO [ 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ]
vonMises raises (900) to 900
budzie folds.
HERO???

Do I call here, or fold and push any 2 the next hand from the sb?

With the SnG payout structure, I think you have to push this (and I think your range on villain is too tight, not that it matters).

Cant see why you would call here, surely you would wait for your next hand. Pretty much whatever he has got you are beat, and he knows you are probably going to push why else would he raise that amount.

because your odds x total chips in pot this hand might be > your expected odds x expected total chips in pot next hand?

Right here, first off, you probably have live cards, if has a pair, oh well, but most of the time, its going to be Ax, Kx, probably, or a QJ, 89 type of hand. Hell, if it was me, often I'll raise any two against a shorty like that. So, you have live cards. Plus, if you do fold, you'll only have 715 left to push into the big blind, so its just barely over a min-raise, you will be called, that just about a gaurntee, especially with the stack sizes.

So, by calling here, you have the potential to make more chips, then on the next hand. If you can hit your hand here, you double up to 2030 chips, and you're in decent shape. You fold and push the next hand and double up, you'll have 1430 in chips, which is good, but that 600 makes a lot of difference. I'd rather have the chance for the 2030, so I call here.
