both the blinds were very very aggressive. I believe/hope this was an important part of your line. Betting the flop is ok, checking is ok, on the turn w/ SB still to act I dont like raising BB's bet unless you can easily fold to a 3bet (see my 1st line) u can't easily fold to a 3bet though, although you must. The more i think about this hand the more i dislike the flop check, mainly because hero has the Ad. River thoughts anyone?

I never thought SB would tag along for the ride since he didn't lead turn....I figured there was a really good shot that BB would bet river no matter what, but if I raised it'd look like some sort of weird slowplay so they'd fold most hands.

so if the sb had folded, was there any size bet on any river card that would make you fold? i guess i can understand that if you're willing to call almost any bet on any river, and think he'll at least bet SOMETHING on almost any river, just calling on the turn and assuming the sb leaves is probably ok. i don't think i could happily call the river though, and think that the fold is probably ok.

personally i just don't see the odds of both no overcall and of the bb betting large in to you again being that great relative to raising hte turn in this line

Why do you like the flop check less because of the Ad? I like it more because of the Ad, its less likely the free card will hurt you.

1 of them check raises, u call, turn diamond, bet/push. Also if 1 of them just calls and a diamond hits the turn your happier to have the pot bigger (since you have the Ad), and you are able to check behind. Imo its not a big deal, but its enough to swing a close decision towards a flop bet.

if i am checking the flop behind, it is with the intention of raising the turn bet

I bet flop, (if I checked it like you) raise turn, (if I flat called turn like you) call river.
