Default Flop 2 pair, what now?

MP3 is 23/5/1.5 over 1.3k hands and hasnt got out of line at all.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

UTG+1 ($112.15)
UTG+2 ($20.30)
MP1 ($48)
MP2 ($20.15)
MP3 ($48)
CO ($44.75)
Button ($25.40)
SB ($48.15)
Hero ($68.10)
UTG ($54.65)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG+1 calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, MP3 calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, Hero checks.

Flop: ($1.75) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero bets 1.25, 1 fold, MP3 raises to $4, Hero raises to $12, MP3 makes it $35

Call, fold, or push?

I ruled out 88, JJ, and KK so far.

fold, I can't see anything you're beating.

Why did you rule out 88? Just cos you have one of the 8s?

probably your answer there. Why do you rule out 88? Because you have one of them? What hand can you put him on that you beat?

Since he has position on you he shouldn't be 4 betting something like Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] there. Only thing that makes sense is 88 or KJ to a lesser extent.

88, KJ, and some people limp JJ. 4-bet = monster = fold. Did you consider a c/r on that flop?

I've quit c/r'ing unless its allin. Cant find a reason to do it after being told not to so many times.

flop 3-bet = yuck

i'd call his raise and check-raise or lead the turn. if i don't think he's raising on the draw i like the check-raise, with a fold to a push.
