Default $40/$80, KQs

40/80 Bay 101

CO missed his blinds and has posted a BB + dead SB.

I open raise UTG+1 with K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], decent player who is waiting for the 80/160 3-bets in EMP, okay playing CO calls two more. I call.

3 players

Flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I check, EMP bets, CO raises, I 3-bet, EMP calls, CO calls.

3 players

Turn: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I bet, EMP raises, CO calls, I call.

3 players

River: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Checked around.

I don't like the turn bet. They are not both going to fold, and you don't want to be raised. Also, there is some chance that they will be scared of the checkraise, which would be a badass play with a real hand.

I check and hope I get a free river card cuz they're afraid of the checkraise. I'd call any number of bets at the turn assuming it's 3-way. The river is a check-fold. Would you consider calling a river bet (by either player?)

I like the flop three bet because it gives you a chance of forcing out an AK in EMP. But the turn bet is pointless. You are clearly behind and there is no way that 2 players who played for three bets on the flop are going to fold. However, they may check through in fear of getting checkraised
