Now here\'s one I can bet...
OK Just though you don't all think I'm the weakest tight poster around here, here's another hand. Postion and outs make all the difference.
Party 15/30 Typical mix Party donks and medocres. 2 limpers to me and I limp with J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in the hijack seat. CO, button and SB join in, BB checks Flop is A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] It's checked to me and I bet, only MP calls Turn is 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Check, I bet, MP calls River is 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Check, I bet, MP folds |

Re: Now here\'s one I can bet...
I would expect to be called by a pair of queens here basically every time. If the board had a draw that missed I would like the bet much more.
edit: upon further consultation with another player, I like the bet much more. Didn't think of the gutshots that missed that are popular limping hands. nh sir. -DrG |
