Default best way of keeping track of fish/buddies at Stars

Without a built-in buddy list in the Stars software, what is the simplest way of keeping track of my favorite fish there?

Is there any alternative to simply writing down names manually?

If you use the "find a player" feature it saves the names that you search for (max of 12 or so). When I'm playing with a megadonk I usually do that so their name is saved and I can search for them again at later times.

Prima is the same - no buddy lists. I've discovered that after a while I start remembering certain names. I don't need a buddy list when I KNOW who the big fish are lol.

Hi,

I have written an application for this, that is currently functional, but has not been fully debugged yet. I am interested in a) finding some testers and b) finding a place to host.

Would people be interested in this?

P.S. I don't have many posts at all, but I do read the forums regularly. I am aware that this may make some people hesitant, but hey, what can I do? (Besides, go and post a bunch of posts that say "Me too!" and "lol"

Wouldn't it be easier if I just emailed you my banking info and SSN?

Nice.

I figured this skepticism. Actually, I think I would feel the same way. But all I can do is put my application out there, and let y'all decide if you want to try it.

I actually thought this WAS the software forum. D'oh! (I usually just open all the forums I'm interested in and then tab open the posts I want to read)

I will post there as soon as I have the first official beta version available. Should be by this weekend.

Thanks.
