What shocks me even more is you made a Vegas trip at 18.

Are poker rooms in Vegas 18+?

I remember going to Vegas with the wife and we were in our late 20s and we couldnt get within 5 feet of a gaming table without being carded in every casino on the strip.

gambling is still 21 in Vegas.

I was kind of shocked to see all the families with 7 year olds walking right through the casino floor though.

That trip was pretty last minute. I basically decided tueday to make the trip, and fortunatley i didn't get carded once at the bellagio. (I think the beard i was sporting at the time might have helped, although i kinda looked like a gorilla)

Anyway, kind of fun to tell that story, it was pretty fun flying accross the country in the hopes that i wouldnt get carded.

good post. kind of a catch 22 to me when you say not play too high, but then you talk about how much money you are making so i want to move up stakes faster.

one thing i will say is don't play higher stakes in a casino that what you are rolled for because you won't "lose as fast". i had a 550+bb roll for 5/10 online and ready to move up to 10/20 and took a shot at a 30/60 live game. worst mistake of my life.

the losing + slow play = tilt is not fun.

Gabe, you sound like you know what you're doing and can learn well...I applaud you. I am finding it extremely hard to advance in my play, and part of it is because I only have myself to compare my play to, and no one to critique it...Is there any way we can chat via e-mail about stuff perhaps...black_metal_massacre@hotmail.com

Regards,

El Diablo,

I'm pretty sure he must be talking about the Ten Crack Commandments:

I'm gonna take the over. Only because I think you set the line a little too early.
